Delhi-Noida Border: Still not fully opened ; Yogi Wants Screening of Commuters

Delhi-Noida border has not yet totally opened.As the train has also been started but this Delhi-Noida border is still controversial in respect of its opening.  

Supreme Court last approved a uniform approach for the border restrain which means there should be single guideline for Delhi-NCR border regions. 

Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah recently  took a meeting with the state and the local authorities in which  he said about the unified approach for the whole NCR.

Uttar Pradesh government is extremely worried and wants to restrain the border due to the Covid-19 spread. Uttar Pradesh government is in great fear that uniform approach may lead to the increase in corona cases in the Noida.

At Delhi-Noida border checking are done on both the sides of the border. But the checkings are done randomly.

There are some passengers who are warned and some are allowed to enter the border.

Important service staff, media and pass holders are allowed to travel . 

According to the reports, the Chief Minister of UP Mr. Yogi Adityanath raised this issue during his meeting with PM Narendra Modi. 

Yogi Adityanath also appealed the Centre to make a strategy to manage people's movement across the NCR districts. 

Adityanath further asked the PM Modi to  place a screening system in place on the borders.source
