Government progressing to 'One nation, One ration card': PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that his government is working on One nation One ration for benefit of migraant workers.

PM Modi also said through television adrresing to the nation that "The country is stepping towards "One nation One ration" and said that it  will directly benefit the poors accross the nation who used to address different states in search of work.

Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Finance Minister also mentioned last month about "Public distribution system" in government's ₹20 lakh crore economic package.

Sitharaman further explained that Public distribution system (PDS) will be  build portable which will allow migrant workers to easily utilize these cards accross states.

 As this One nation One ration will start, it will help migrant workers to use their ration Card in any places accross the nation.They will be given foodgrains at any free price shops accross the country.source

Sitharaman also said that as per Modi's technology driven system reforms, their  government is focusing to achieve 100% aims to achieve 100 per cent viability of these cards by March 2021.

PM Modi claimed that the government will continue to take next steps to empower the poor and the needy.

He also repeated his pledge to work towards Atmanirbhar Bharat.He further said that economic activities will also be increased accross the nation with also taking care of proper precautions in place.
